Interview & Book Signing with Martha George Author of “Goodbye Miss Emily”

On Tuesday, June 20th, we talked with resident Martha George and reviewed her book, “Goodbye Miss Emily.” After the discussion, residents had an opportunity for questions and book signings. The book, “Goodbye Miss Emily,” takes place in the South and is centered around a family of a well-to-do lawyer, Morgan Bigley, left with two young daughters after his wife died. A war in Europe and a changing South are a backdrop to the unfolding story as the Bigleys traverse serious obstacles outwardly, while their inner landscapes evolve and deepen.
